student ministries

junior and senior high (7th-12th)

Here at FBN we understand that our students go through some of the toughest phases of life during this period.  We are here to encourage them along side parents and point our students to Jesus in all circumstances. To acknowledge Him in all things and to constantly have our eyes fixed on him. We are fully devoted to the teaching of Scripture and will hold fast to the truths of His Word.

Current Study

We've been steadily going through the book of 1 Peter. Peter is writing to his suffering brothers and sisters to offer encouragement and hope to them as they continually face persecution.  We are reminded of the Gospel and the gift of our salvation and are encouraged to live Holy lives in response to such a great gift. 1 Peter is a very practical book that gives us great insight into how we are to live our lives in the face of adversity and more when it comes to our faith.

Middle school and high school hangouts

We have several families who have graciously opened up their homes to host our students for several nights where they can invite friends, play games, eat food and more! Contact Brandon Pittenger for more information.

Student Ministry Team

We know there are a wide variety of things going on in the lives of our students and that those things differ greatly between 7th-12th grade.  To ensure that our students are covered through all of it we have assembled an amazing team

Student Life Camp

Every year we take our students to Student Life Camp.  Five days where your student will be immersed in God's Word.  Being challenged to take that next step in their walk with Him.  We spend time worshiping with hundreds of other students to some of the best worship teams around.

"Student Life exists to help people know Christ through His Word. We believe God's Word is relevant and instructive for the challenges students face today. Our goal is to elevate God's Word so that life change can happen within the lives of youth and kids.

Student Life camps challenge youth through engaging worship from experienced worship leaders, learning from sound biblical teachers, building community through Bible study and serving the lost.

We value the work of a minister 52 weeks out of the year, so we design one-week ministry experiences to support their work. We believe in the relationships between students and their leaders, and therefore, we strive to structure our events so these relationships are strengthened.

Student Life is an inter-denominational ministry serving the local church." -Student Life Website
