Important FBN Update Summary

Your FBN Elders have decided to postpone in-person Sunday services through the month of November. Please keep in mind there will be a new update from your FBN Elders on November 30th to inform FBN on how we will proceed into December.

Why the Elders have considered this action?

• Spiking numbers of cases and hospitalizations in Vigo County

• Rising numbers of exposure and contraction among FBN members and attenders

• To help flatten the curve so that hospitals are not overrun with patients

• *To be clear, the state has not mandated this action from churches, but worship services are an identified contributor to the spread.  FBN desires to be part of the solution, not the problem.

What this means for FBN?

• Online services and online giving will still be fully accessible through November

• The office will remain open through the week

• Any classes that have been meeting are still permitted to do so as long as the class teacher/leader decides to keep meeting, no gatherings exceed 50 people, masks are worn at all times, and social distancing and disinfecting hard surfaces are to be utilized. Any person with even slight symptoms are to refrain from attendance

• Turkey Trot is still a go

If you have any further questions, please feel free to call or email the office.
